Physical Amenities, Parks & Playgrounds
Secret Harbour boasts a huge array of things to do and see throughout the estate and the physical amenities, parks and playgrounds are world class. The Secret Harbour golf course, great fishing, surf club and beaches, cycling/walking paths and tennis courts are all available within the estate. Many people flock to Secret Harbour for its abundant natural attributes including beautiful parks, lakes, wetlands and coastal dune systems form an integral component of the estates natural attributes and characteristics.
Secret Harbour Community Centre
Satterley and the Secret Harbour Joint Venture are well aware of the need to provide a venue for the community to utilise as a focal point to enable community social interaction. The Secret Harbour Community Centre located on Oasis Drive is owned and managed by the City of Rockingham and is a great facility. The Community Centre offers a huge array of programs, services and activities for the entire community including, quiz nights, martial arts, playgroups, modeling, maths and english classes, church services and scouts. Secret Harbour Surf Club
The Secret Harbour Surf Lifesaving Club has been operating at Secret Harbour for just over 10 years and prior to this for 15 years at Waikiki and Golden Bay. The SHSLC has a strong ‘on the beach’ presence during the summer weekends to provide supervision of beach goers. The SHSLSC are a family club and welcome any new members, whether it is to participate or just social and all members are volunteers. Secret Harbour Golf Course
The Secret Harbour Golf Course is a magnificent 18-hole Links course located within the beachside Secret Harbour Estate. Players have spectacular views of the Indian Ocean amid the natural sand dunes that provides a lovely landscape for a challenging and enjoyable course. The course is designed by Graham Marsh with beautiful rolling fairways, well positioned pot bunkers and several unique holes. The Secret Harbour Golf Course is in the top 25 public access courses in Australia and is part of the “Golf Coast’ group of courses. Big Wave Surf School
The Secret Harbour beach is one of Perths best surf beaches and as such is ideal for learning to surf. This pristine beach has waves all year round, ample parking and excellent facilities onsite including, toilets, showers, changing rooms, café, surf club and restaurant. The Big Wave Surf School has a simple philosophy, their aim is to ensure everyone has FUN and they offer programs that will suit anyone. Business & Employment
Satterley through the Secret Harbour Venture continue to work in close consultation with the community to implement both short and long term opportunities for business and employment for the local Secret Harbour community.
Progression of Secret Harbour Shopping Complex
The Secret Harbour Shopping Centre Stage One opened in December 2006, located on the corner of Secret Harbour Boulevard and Oasis Drive, it features Woolworths and a number of speciality stores, such as Jamaica Blue and Brumbys.
Childcare Centre
Secret Harbour has a new child care centre with ABC Learning Centres located at the corner of Anstey Road and Bluestone Parkway. For further information contact ABC Learning Centres on 1800 222 543.

Education & Youth
Satterley and the Secret Harbour Joint Venture understand both the short and long term benefits associated with the provision of opportunities for education and training within a community. The provision of playgroups, primary and high schools and further educational opportunities are the backbone for a bright future.
Schools
Secret Harbour has three schools available, Secret Harbour Primary School, Comet Bay Primary School and Comet Bay College.
Youth Activities and Opportunities
The Secret Harbour Joint Venture offers heaps of fun activities and opportunities for the youth of Secret Harbour including, community art projects, school holiday activities, creativity workshops and plenty of events that cater specifically for the 0 – 21 age bracket. It must be noted that the hard working community members at the Secret Harbour Residents Association are always interested to speak to young people to involve them in the decision making process for programs and events that impact positively on their life.

Events and Activities
Well organised and implemented events have been a major draw card at the Secret Harbour Estate since its inception and highlight events have included the annual Carols in the Park, Autumn Festival and outdoor Movie Nights. As the photos reveal healthy crowds attend these events/activities and I urge all interested persons to get along and enjoy the experience. The events/activities provide opportunities for the community to socialise and enjoy the spectacular array of entertainers and fun associated with these events. The Secret Harbour Residents Association has a very pro-active events committee and if you would like to get involved contact the SHRA for further details.
Secret Harbour Whisper
The Secret Harbour Whisper is a website produced through the SHRA that keeps interested residents up-to-date with the latest news, views and local information concerning the overall Secret Harbour Estate development. The website site is designed to provide useful information on the latest news, bulletin boards, Neighbourhood Watch, events, activities and trade/sale information.

Secret Harbour Resident Association (SHRA)
With more than 2500 households in Secret Harbour there is a strong sense of community spirit with residents eagerly participating in various community pursuits including social events. The SHRA exists for all persons living in Secret Harbour and the participation of the community is crucial to enhance the lifestyle that reinforces Secret Harbour as a great place to live. The SHRA has lobbied hard for many community initiatives including:
- Extension of Warnbro Sound Ave from Port Kennedy,
- Street lighting on major intersections,
- Speed limit signage on Secret Harbour Boulevard,
- Secret Harbour Community Centre,
- Primary and secondary schools,
- Various maintenance and repairs throughout the estate.

Secret Harbour Whisper Newsletter
The Secret Harbour Whisper is a local bi-monthly 16 page newsletter that contains local information. It is produced by the SHRA in conjunction with local community groups and is made possible through the generous financial support of the Secret Harbour Joint Venture. The Whisper is delivered free to each household and copies are available through the Secret Harbour website at www.secretharbourwhisper.com.au.
