Construction of the extensive parklands at Tuart Ridge has now been completed and we can proudly claim that this is the best open space in the Baldivis area.

The area features:

• In excess of 500m of walk and cycle paths within the parkland
• Free electric barbecues
• Children's playground featuring Gondi the Gecko
• Multiple water features
• Lakeside picnic facilities
• Tennis courts with floodlights enabling play at night

Public artworks

The stunning art works on display at the lakeside park are the creation of talented West Australian artist Lorenna Grant. Lorenna has been involved in public art for more than ten years having won several Awards including the prestigious Allens Arthur Robinson Scholarship for the sculpture 'The Lion's Throat' in the inaugural Sculpture by the Sea at Cottesloe.

An ecological theme underlines her work and one of Lorenna's secrets of success is that she works closely with architects, landscape architects and sub-contractors to fashion the most appropriate works for the job at hand.
